The Help Desk provides technical
assistance to all faculty, staff, administration and students. MSU students
must contact the Help Desk to initiate support requests for MSU supported
software, desktop environments and peripherals, network connectivity,
computer password maintenance, hardware and software configuration support,
Blackboard, and resident telephone connections.
In particular, the Help Desk provides assistance to resident students with
computer viruses. If you need assistance, please contact the Help Desk to
schedule an appointment. Appointments are available from 8am-10pm Monday
through Sunday. For security reasons, you must remain in the TSC while the
staff attempts to diagnose and inoculate your computer.
OIT is unable to provide hardware support to non-MSU equipment. Please
contact your hardware vendor for further information and assistance on
hardware support.

NOTE: Due to campus site license agreements, we are unable to distribute the
MS Office applications.
