Shunfa holds an M.Ed. in Educational Media and Computers from Arizona State University. He did doctoral coursework at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey towards a Ph.D. in Education. His academic interests include integrating technology for teaching and learning, instructional technology training, course management systems, computer/Web-based instruction, and computer multimedia and animation. He has served in the edTeXpo Committee at Montclair State University. He had presentations at the National Conference of American Federation of Teachers in Washington D.C., BbWorld '06, NJEDge and various technology conferences at Montclair State University. He has passed the Oracle PL/SQL exam and the Oracle Database Administration exam. Outside OIT, Shunfa's interests include his family, golfing and swimming.
